Re: Task List Assignment to PM Notifications

Hi Pete,

The use of task lists here is for corrective work not planned or preventive work so this is nothing to do with the Maint Plan usage. It just so happens thats what the Tab is called in the notification.

Re: Task List Assignment to PM Notifications

Thanks Manianz and PS square for the responses. We are on ECC6 EHP4 at the moment. Once the notification is created and saved the task list fields are greyed out in IW22 so no assignment can be made. If you mean that we want all the task list lines appearing on the work order when the notification i...

Task List Assignment to PM Notifications

Hi, I can assign a task list to a notification when the notification is being created. The TL is then pulled through to the work order when the notification is assigned. Can you assign a task list to the notification later if initially it has been saved without a task list? Looks like the task list ...

Re: Adding a Hyperlink on Technical objects

Hi, We went the DMS path and created an LSMW which created the document and assigned it to the object. The document contained the URL to the drawings. We chose DMS over services for objects because attaching a SAP document shows an icon on the technical object initial screen and also on any notifica...

Re: Maint Plans

Hi Ralph, We get the result you are loking for by manipulating the dates in the strategy packages. If you set the monthly package Initial = 0 Subsequent =30 that should get the dates as you expect. BSD = 1st BFD = 30 days later. With regards to Scheduling: ours is set to 4 "Do not adjust basic dates...

If it is just information messages why not set up a batch job to run a variant to list all the notifications created for each specific boss. Set this up to run daily/weekly as necessary. At least it will keep the amount of emails he has to delete to a minimum.

Hi,

For the system condition to be pulled through to the order header you need to populate the system condition field in the maintenance item. This is found behind the icon for "task list/gen. task list" detail.

Default Unit in CAT Timesheet

Hi, The CAT timsheet seems to use hours as the standard (default) unit of measure. Is it possible to change the UOM to Day? The client (for certain employees) does not need to capture hours worked only that they were onsite on a particular day. We could use a standard N hours per day and calculate f...

As long as the units in the strategy are of the same dimension e.g. time, you can include whatever you wish. As Didier points it can be a little unpredictable trying to line up years and months with weeks and days.

Maint Plan Scheduling and orders in Past

Hi, I have searched Pm forum on this and not found the solution so if I missed it, apologies. The client has a really complex set of strrategy packages which mean that we are having to start/restart plans sometimes several years ago to get the correct package lined up. Is there a way to prevent orde...

CAF,

I seem to remember that MB1A would prompt you for a serial number if you tried to issue a serialsised spare to an order.

Planned/Actual Costs Report in Work Order

In the planned/actual costs report for an order it is showing the planned costs as 'duration X act.rate'. This is OK if there is only one number of resource but wrong if there are more than one. The actual costs are showing up OK as you would expect. I've checked the other plants (which use the same...
