E-Recruiting and Portal

I am sure this is an easy question for someone but I am not on the technical side. We have installed E-Recruiting 600 on a separate instance from our ECC6 system.

What steps are needed to get us set up so we can see the portal screens? During the SAP training for this module they just have you log into the portal already created and nothing is discussed about how they got to that point.

I need to take this to our portal group but any direction or documents that I can send to them would help expedite the process.

1. e-rec is separate fromecc right? here is what you will need at a high level :-) ale conection between e-rec and ecc for data transfers.
b. a connection between e-rec and portal
c. adding the e-rec related roles to exisitng ess/mss roles on portal
d. creation of e-rec specific roles over and above the point c.
2. I am assuming the pre-requisite activation of business functions etc is already done on the e-rec system.
hmm did I miss anything? possible though not very probable,.. suggest you continue some more due-diligence though ;)

Actually the business functions are missing on the E-recruiting box and no one seems to know how to get them there :)
