GuiXT syntax question - changing a screen text value

Post by Tjosvold » Mon May 07, 2012 3:58 pm

Hello all,

text F[Remarks] "SSN" "-text"

text [Remarks] "SSN"

What does the 1st line do that the 2nd line doesn't? They both produce the same change of screen text.

I am trying to understand the 1st line. Our company merged with another and the other had some consultants create some GuiXT scripts that I now have to support.

I don't understand what the F after text does.
I don't understand what the "-text" does.

Thanks
Bruce

Hello,

-text is not an option for text command. So it does nothing. (probably an artefact from changes made in maintenance in the past)
