BCS different consolidation method in a hierarchie

Post by dsantos » Mon Apr 14, 2008 9:19 am

Hello,

We have the following hierarchy of consolidation units:

Company 1 (purchase method) -> Company 2 (equity method) -> Company 4
(equity method)

When we execute consolidation of investments BCS ignores the investment
of company 2 in company 4.

How can we solve this scenario?

Thank you in advance.

does the check settings function of the workbench show any errors for your config?

There is no error in the system.

The system only ignores the investment
of company 2 in company 4.

Sometimes the system will continue to function without error, but postings are incorrect (or missing entirely) if the check settings function turns up errors. This would be my first place to start. If you run this, and there are errors or warnings, then these could be the source of your issues.

Otherwise, have you created these units with the equity accounting technique? or have you changed them. If you changed them, did you follow the proper change logic?
