Standard report for Operations ??

Post by gfg » Thu Aug 18, 2005 10:26 am

Hi,

I am working with CS. We use CAT to register hours. I want to know if there excists a standard report in SAP where I can see how many hours have been registered for a specific operation, for example 0010 ?? Lets say I have X many orders (SM02 for example) and have booked X many hours on 0010 operations on these orders. Is there a report that can tell me how many hours I have registered on 0010 regardless if I have one or more orders ??

Gunnar,

Don't recall seeing one in PM. However, there may be something in PS

Yes, there is.
If you use orders as a subnetwork. You´d have to list all confirmations to that network by CNS41 and set a filter on the text (!) of the operation.
But I guess there should be a better solution, like using a field-key as enhancement of the operation?

Hi,

Standard list edit IW49 (operations) selecting operation 0010 and with a variant set up to display 'Actual Work'.

Hi,

In my experience, I would have thought reporting this way is not the most robust solution.
The risk being that an assumption is being made that the Operation Numbered '0010' will be exclusively used for the purpose that is being reported on AND other Operations will NOT be used for that purpose.

I wouldn't do it this way, if I could help it..
I wouldn't use description either....

I would love to know what the business requirements are..

Feel free to send me the details so I can assist in thinking of an alternative...

Kind Regards,

Ron Johns.

The older I get the better I was.
