IW42 Goods Issue & Account Indicator

Post by Quigley » Sat Jul 22, 2006 5:50 am

We issue stock via IW42 and as we do this we enter an account indicator. Is there a report or display that shows me the goods issued and the account indicator entered so I can review it at a later date? something in confirmations maybe?

Cheers

Can you see this information from a standard good movements listing (MB51) or via the order, extras, goods movements?

Have you managed to find a way of using IW42 with serialised parts? We are looking for a simpler way of issuing materials than MIGO (because it will be something technicians do themselves rather than storemen) but we need to be able to handle serial numbers.

CAF,

I seem to remember that MB1A would prompt you for a serial number if you tried to issue a serialsised spare to an order.

Yes MB1A (and now MIGO) do prompt for a serial number if the material has a profile. However IW42 just seems to give an error.

Maybe we need a bespoke screen to combine the cimplicity of IW42 with the ability to record a serial number? Does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi,

Ask u r SD consultant, there is a standard report in SAP which gives the condition type used in which order.use that report and search by u r condition type which is assigned to u r Accounting indicator.

Thanks,
Hicth
