Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. After 5 customer messages to SAP, a lot of notes..... I coudn't ever download relationships. I asked why....The SAP answer: contact Microsof, it's not our problem!!! OpenPS is freeware but..... a bit of seriousness.

Advice: think about it.....

downloading projects to MS projects

Post by fatman » Fri Jan 17, 2003 1:46 am

Greetings from FATMAN,

You can download projects (SAP 4.6C) to MS projects without OpenPS software. But you cannot upload from MS Project to project system.

Go to transaction CN41.
Select the project definition and expand all and select all (includes project definition, WBS element, network activities)
Menu > evaluation > Export > MS project
Specify a menu path and calender (from date and to date )
The system then generates an MPP file for the project definition/WBS element.

Open this .MPP file in MS projects.
