Search Question

Postby milan1 » Fri Dec 16, 2005 11:32 am

After reading a post from my search results, how do I get back to the search results? If I use my browers back button I get "page has expired" and I have to re-enter my search criteria.

Thanks,

So do I. I hit F5 and then enter at the pop-up. Its anoying, but I always thought it was my browser.
Electricity is actually made up of extremely tiny particles called electrons, that you cannot see with the naked eye unless you have been drinking.

I right click on the link and and choose "open link in a new tab". Of course if your using old technology, you might find you have to choose "open link in a new window".

Either way, you results remain.

cheers

I have this problem. Does anyone have a fix? Work-arounds are not very productive.

Thanks,

I think this one is more productive...

As you can open as many windows as you like, and, as m@t says, you retain the search list...

You have to actually remember to do it... Which is still a problem!

even more productive, use a multi-tabbed browser such as IE 7 or better yet, Firefox, then, hold the CRTL key and click on the link, it will open in a new tab and your search page result stays put.. I open up to 50 tabs at the same time.
